About Lexie

I grew up in a single parent home. My mom was working two jobs so at the age of 11, I began babysitting my younger brother who is 5 years younger than me. I would make us dinner, make sure our homework was done, bathe us and put us to bed. I did this until I was about 14. When I turned 15, my mom's friends would have me babysit their children in the summer. The children's ages ranged from about 4 to 11. I was also diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when I was 10, so I had to manage it, as well as caring for other children. Because of this, I am very good at monitoring children with medical issues. I am very good with children because I have been responsible for them my whole life. I have also developed many housekeeping skills since I often times had to cook and clean while my mom was at work.
