About Lexie

I love working with kids because it gives me insight into different personalities and behaviors so I get to care for your kids while developing skills to someday care for my own! I'm looking for a job that not only provides stability but also an environment full of positive energy where everyone is learning and growing I started working with kids when I was 13, helping my sister babysit for a newborn and 2-year-old and watched those kids for over 4 years. I now have over 7 years experience In my spare time, I like to travel, do photography, and watch hockey. One thing you should know about me is I never view childcare as just a job. I love to feel like part of the family and treat the kids and home as such. My skills include patience, development and active participation. I have learned a lot about getting on kids levels, adjusting to personal needs, what works for them and working around that. I love keeping kids engaged in play or learning, I'm not a big fan of screen time!
