If you are looking for a responsible, patient, loving, and experienced caregiver, then give me a call! I am a great listener and genuinely love hearing stories. I work exceedingly well with people who have dementia, responding to the human need to be heard, respected, and understood. I have been a main caregiver for my family's elderly relatives, providing ongoing support for my uncle with dementia and my aunt with mobility issues. I provided care for the elderly mother of a friend in hospice: holding space, anticipating needs, and maintaining a clean environment. I grew up in Santa Cruz and attended UC Santa Barbara, where I graduated on the Dean's List. I have a NOLS Wilderness First Responder certificate including first aid and CPR. While I don't have a car, I am available to chaperone using Para-Cruz or Uber. I am reliable and responsible, and committed to job excellence.
