About Leticia

Hello! I am a wife, mother and grandmother of 4 children. I have my own family experience, but have done years of volunteer work taking care of children from birth to age 7 as a nursery aide, nursery manager, and as a Sunday school teacher/substitute. For a period of 2 years, I headed a fundraiser to benefit kids from low income families who could not afford to go to summer camp. Later, I worked as a noon director in an Montebello Intermediate School. I have taken Child Development courses in college. Currently, I have an Associate's College Degree. My CPR & First Aid certificate is current and have a clean background as well as excellent references. I do not smoke or take medications. I am a reliable, trustworthy and a hardworking person who feels blessed working with children and nurturing them. It is my pleasure to help them learn and grow into healthy, happy babies. Overall, I have over 20 years of experience with children and enjoy them. My favorite time is with my family and especially my 4 grand kids ranging from 4 years old to 6 years. I enjoy teaching them, playing and getting silly with them, teaching them right & wrong as well as respect. They are small, but all children are smart and understand more than we know. I've worked for wonderful families whom have grown close to. I enjoy taking the children out to explore, learn, talk, arts & crafts etc. It doesn't matter what age. It's good & they love it. If you would like to hire me, I guarantee you that my priority are your kids, their safety, & well-being. I also know how to care for them when they're sick. While working, I keep the parents posted as to how they are or any new ventures. I understand how important milestones are for parents who unfortunately might miss them.
