I was impressed by Tish's profile on Care.com. She's as impressive in person! I hired her to provide care for my mother who lives in Indep. Living in a senior community, but needed extra help due to dementia, frailness and a broken arm. She knows how to handle older folks, listens to them but also can coax them to do what needs to be done (take meds, showers, throw away bad food, etc...). She has patience in amazing amounts and finds the things that drive you crazy about your loved one (attitude, ornery-ness, stubborn)...cute and funny...God bless her! She enjoys taking her clients out for drives or to run errands...which they ususally love! She communicates needs well, provides a daily update, let's you know when something goes well (outings, get togethers with others) and when something is off or not going well (physical changes, mood changes). She shares cute pics of your loved one with you and works with you on your/their care needs (take bp, aid with showers, take for walks, pill reminders, clean up around the house, plant care, etc... all the things!) I'd hire Tish over an over again to help with my mom. Tish loves her clients and my mom loves her!
