I have been in the child care field for over nine years. For over six years, I worked for a school for children with autism and other special needs. I circulated through different age groups but I mainly worked with the preschoolers. I worked on academic curriculum, Speech, OT, music, arts and crafts, potty training, feeding, social skills and other subjects each individual child needed to become as independent as possible. We implemented DTT, PECS, ABA, as well pet therapy. I like to read stories, sing songs and do outdoor activities.

Lesslie was a huge help to us at a time when we really needed someone to help out with our son who has ADHD and sensory issues. She would pick him up from school every day, spent a few hours with him and then drop him off once we were home from work. She was patient and calm with him, and kept kept him engaged during the time they spent together. They'd often go to the park to let my son burn off some of his energy. She is dependable and great with kids. We would hire Lesslie again.
