About Lesly

I love getting to know and embracing each child's wonderful personality and I love how much one can learn from kids too. I have experience helping kids work through difficult situations in a compassionate and thoughtful manner and teaching tools for self-regulation. I started working with kids in 2016 during my freshman year of college as a teacher assistant at a child development center. Since then I've worked in multiple childcare centers, preschools, have been a tutor, have worked with kids on the autism spectrum as a behavioral therapist, have been a director for an early learning program, and an now a parent educator. My top child care skills are: 1. I have plenty of experience working with neurodivergent children as well as children of all ages 2. I am very patient and compassionate 3. I enjoy creating and finding fun and interactive activities with the kids to keep them entertained without sitting in front of a screen.
