Hi. My name is Leslie. I have over 40 years of experience with children as a teacher, mother, summer sitter and started sitting at the age of 13. I am dependable, honest, reliable, sensitive to individual needs, patient, organized and love to interact with children with activities and things they love and are interested in. Over the years I have worked with children of various ages and abilities. While teaching, I worked with students with various learning/behavioral issues, taught on an individual basis students that had difficulty in a classroom and worked closely with the special needs department. Working and obtaining information from the parent prior to caring for the child/children is essential to make the child feel comfortable, safe and reduce/not cause unnecessary anxiety by changing the schedule etc. that they are use to. A summary of activities and how the day went will be provided. My entire life has been spent with children and I've loved every minute of it.
