I like caring for people with special needs because I have patience, understanding, empathy, compassion, and the education to care for those with special needs. I started caring for people with special needs when I was 17 years old, I started babysitting for a family where one child was on the spectrum and high functioning and their sibling had behavioral problems. It was such a fun experience, I remember their parents telling me all the babysitters they had ran away from the family and I was so confused because I was having the time of my life hanging out with these kids! It did teach me a lot about those with developmental disabilities to the point where I went to college to learn more!
