About Leslie

Hello! I am an empty-nester RN mother of two successful daughters in college who really misses caring for little ones. As a mother, my philosophy is to really engage children in creative activities, nurturing their minds and imaginations. My years as a camp counselor inspired many activities, songs, and outdoor fun with children. Bring on the books, puzzles, paints, Legos, blocks, and dolls! Whether it is rocking your baby to sleep with a quiet song, getting on the floor to play with toddlers, helping your school-aged child with homework or a science project, or being a reassuring presence to pre-teens, I would love the opportunity to care for your children. As a nurse with 40 years experience, I am comfortable with health issues/ sick child care. My personal interests include gardening, hiking, camping, art and theater, reading, world travel, cats, baking, swimming, multicultural acitivites, and life-long learning. I look forward to providing you peace of mind childcare!
