About Leslie

I have had pets all my life, and I was always bringing home stray animals of all kinds as a child. I have always had cats. I have sometimes had aquariums and goldfish bowls. I have had finches and a canary. In California, I had two dogs and three cats. The two dogs were an Australian cattle dog and a yellow lab. They got at least 3 walks a day, even with my working full time and being gone about 12 hours a day. I got up early and took them for walks and when I got home, the first thing I did was play Frisbee, fetch (tennis ball) and go for walks. I took the cattle dog (Ruby) to dog training classes and taught her tricks myself. Whenever we were out of town or the country, the dogs (and cats) always had an in-home pet sitter. They came first! I currently have 2 cat sisters with congenital issues. They are so loved!
