About Leslie

Future elementary school teacher here! My current hobbies and passion is heavily centered around fitness and weightlifting. I've been working for the School District of Palm Beach County for 3 years as a substitute teacher as well as an aftercare/ summer camp counselor and am currently still working as a substitute teacher. During my time working for the school district I have adapted skills in behavior management, effective communication, planning and executing fun indoor and outdoor activities and ensuring the safety of each child (I have my school district ID badge available to view). I am currently enrolled at FAU to obtain my bachelors degree in elementary education and have an associates degree in elementary education from palm beach state college. I would describe my personality as passionate, understanding, patient, and of course fun! I am CPR and first aid certified by the school district and have my own reliable transportation.
