About Leslie

When my children were young, I wanted nothing more than to spend time teaching my children and to experience the world with them. Although I was fortunate to consider parenting my full-time work, I also contributed to the family income with part-time work, which included an in-home child care business and a cleaning business. I worked in retail, in a library, and as a garden center manager and bookkeeper. I have had two wonderful long-term positions with families through Care. com totaling 3 years. I have had CPR training in the past but do not have a recent certification. I offer conscientious, attentive care with an emphasis on fun, educational interaction. I particularly enjoy reading to and drawing/ coloring/ painting with children as well as working with emerging readers.
