My training is from the Orton Gillingham approach and focuses on phonics, spelling, reading, comprehension and handwriting. Empowering students to reach their potential is the driving force behind my 10 years of experience as a Certified teacher. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By actively listening and observing how your student interacts with new material, I tailor my approach to fit unique needs. Student sessions are focused, prescriptive and diagnostic. Open communication ensures we achieve the best possible outcomes together. I find the greatest reward in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a challenging concept clicks into place.
