About Leora

Hi, my name is Leora and I'm a former camp counselor and preschool teacher from Huntington Woods, Michigan. I'm just about to graduate from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Comedy Writing and Performance! I've been babysitting since I was 12 years old and have never stopped- I've also worked at three summer camps, and taught music and art enrichment preschool classes. Currently I'm in the Comedy Studies program at The Second City, but hopefully in five years I'll be writing for a late night show and voice acting in cartoons! I've always found working with kids preferable to working with adults- I get to take my goofy nature and put it to perfect use! I'm knowledgable in early childhood development and can tailor activities to fit educational goals of specific age brackets. I know how to interact in a way that fosters confidence and learning through play. I'm graduating May 11th, and would love to find long-term part time jobs with multiple families.
