My name is Leonor, I speak Spanish and English and I have worked as a nanny for more than 14 years. I have been working with children since my early 20's as a young woman I would often volunteer for charities, babysit or tutor children with learning disabilities. I enjoyed the experience so much that I decided to make it a life long career. I went to school to become a teacher and received a Bachelors degree in education. In my 40's I became certified in CPR for adults and children and received a degree in nursing as well. I have 13 years experience in working with elderly and disabled patients. I've worked with all types of patients including ones with Dementia, Alzheimer and Parkinson's. I am working in Chicago as a nanny for 14 years. Now I am working only as a temporary nanny for 1 or 2 weeks, babysitting during week or weekend, also if you need to travel I can able to travel with the family. Now I just move to Greenville SC.

Leonor is the nanny of a lifetime. 

She started with our son at two years old and then cared for our daughter since birth (now 2). 

She is a true part of our family and every family she has worked with before. Warm, loving, engaging - laughter is heard all day long. She is reliable and present - never on her phone and neighbors and teachers often tell us how wonderful she is when we’re not around. She takes our kids on adventures and is always outside or on the ground actively playing with them. She is a dream. 

I never knew what full trust in another person could feel like until we met Leonor. Our children love her and we will forever be thankful for the years our family had with her. She teaches, nurtures and takes care of our whole family. We love her immensely!

Leonor was our nanny from September 2018 through August 2021. She was the most wonderful nanny we could ever imagine. We interviewed her when I was pregnant with our first, and I knew she was going to be the right fit for our family when she told me she loved caring for babies because she loved to "fill their brains with knowledge." Over the years, we watched our son's knowledge grow. He was counting to 1000 in both English and Spanish at 2 years old! She stayed with our family through the birth of our second son and was an amazing caregiver for both boys and our whole family. She is incredibly reliable; we could count on her to show up exactly 10 minutes before her shift started every day. She is caring and thoughtful. She is experienced and willing to offer suggestions, but allows parents to make the best decisions for their children. Ultimately our family moved out of state in August 2021, otherwise we would have never let Leonor go. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I cannot recommend Leonor as a nanny highly enough. She has been with us since our daughter was a newborn and I was a nervous first-time mom. She will be with us until September/October 2018 when our daughter turns 3 and heads off to preschool. 

Leonor is everything you would want in a nanny, reliable, caring, full of energy, and constantly engaged. She regularly takes our daughter to classes and museums around Chicago. She is up for anything and always has new ideas. She has taught our daughter numbers, letter, colors, shapes, etc., and always has a fun art project to work on.

Leonor is totally focused on the child she is taking care of. Safety is her number one priority. I am never worried when my daughter is with her. This piece of mind is priceless.
I am beyond sad that we will not be seeing Leonor on a daily basis anymore, but I know she will still be in our lives for a long time to come! I am happy to speak to anyone as a reference. 














Ms. Leonor was my children's preschool teacher for several years. She was the reason why our second child was enrolled in the school she taught at. I have observed Ms. Leonor's caring and loving personality on many occasions when she taught her class. Ms. Leonor is an extraordinary teacher who is very compassionate about teaching. Leonor cared for my son when he was an infant to toddler. She was absolutely extraordinary. She actively engaged with him every moment that he was awake and he was always thrilled to see her in the mornings. All the things you read about that are important for infant development, are just part of Leonor's nature. The things he learned from her were amazing. My son was very verbal at a young age, because Leonor talked with him joyfully and lovingly all day long. We also could not believe it when she managed to teach him to blow his own nose at the age of 11 months! I had no concerns about my son's safety or well being when he was with her. She celebrated our son's every achievement and he thrived beautifully under her nurturing. I am a better parent just for having been exposed to Leonor and I honestly think you come across a caregiver like Leonor once in a lifetime. The only downside is that he loved her so much, that he sometimes cried when I came to pick him up. My son is a teenager now and we live in another state, but we still remain in regular contact because Leonor was such a positive influence not just on our baby boy, but on our whole family.

Leonor is as good a caregiver as I've ever met. As a mother, she worked tirelessly to support her kids and pay the bills. As a teacher, she won numerous awards as best teacher in the pre-school she worked at. She is loving, caring, dependable, parents love her, and most of all, children, as well as seniors & adults love her. I would not hesitate one second in using Leonor as a caregiver or child care provider.

Leonor is a wonderful teacher. Leonor worked for the company many years as a VPK teacher. Leonor evaluates each child and teaches according to the child's ability. Leonor as a person is as beautiful inside as out. Leonor became a very special friend through the many years.

Our decision to hire her has been one of the best decisions we've ever made. To say our experience with Leonor has been phenomenal would be an understatement.

Leonor's background as a school teacher has been so rewarding and beneficial for our daughter. In addition to doing amazing and creative arts and craft projects with Alex, she has helped teach our daughter the alphabet as well as basic counting, handwriting, reading, and spelling skills. Leonor has also regularly brought our daughter to the library and park programs to help her develop socially with other children.

One of the most impressive and invaluable skills Leonor has taught our daughter is a foreign language. Leonor began early on teaching Alex to speak and understand the Spanish language and culture. We are proud to have a bilingual child because of Leonor and know this will prove to be a benefit and advantage for Alex in years to come. Leonor would be an excellent Spanish tutor and translator for anyone regardless of age.

Beyond her exceptional skills as an educator, Leonor has endless energy. We have been constantly impressed by her ability to spend hours on end at the park with Alex and keep up with an active toddler. She's really a true illustration of what somebody who lives a healthy lifestyle can achieve. She has also shared this way of life with Alex from the start by preparing and cooking her healthy meals and snacks every week. 

Leonor is trustworthy, attentive, responsible, and punctual. More importantly, she is a warm and caring individual. Whether working with small children or adults, Leonor has the ability to enrich the lives of all those she touches. 

Over the past couple of years Leonor has become so much more than a childcare provider for us. We consider her a member of our family now and always. We have recently decided to relocate to the west coast and would take Leonor with us if we could. We only hope that another family will be blessed in knowing Leonor as we have.

Leonor (who has been coined Daisy by my 2 year old daughter) is such a Godsend to us!  She has as much energy as my 2 year old!  She is 100% reliable, always on time and is very flexible.  My daughter gets so excited when she hears Daisy is coming to play with her.  When she takes her to a parent tot class she is completely engaged with her (she doesn't just sit on the sidelines talking on her phone like many nannies do).  

In addition, she speaks fluent Spanish which is a total bonus.  We asked her to talk in both English and Spanish which she does and our daughter is picking it up nicely.  When she is at our house, her number priority is our daughter.  She is also great with pets.  We have two dogs and they are very picky about people.  They have loved Leonor from the start.  

Leonor's teaching backing is a big bonus too.  She is creative and imaginative and you can tell when she is with my daughter, she is having as much fun as she is.  She understands child development and knows how to bring out the best  in children.  You can tell her passion is working with children.

I wish I would have met her much sooner!  We are moving to the burbs in the spring and in the short time we have known her, she will be very, very hard to leave and it will extremely difficult to find someone as good as her.  I am sure we will keep and touch with her and I won't doubt that Leonor will come out for her birthday party in October.  Taking care of kids, is more than just a job to her, you are able to form a real lasting connection.
