About Leonor

I have been working with children since my early 20's as a young woman I would often volunteer for charities, babysit or tutor children with learning disabilities. I enjoyed the experience so much that I decided to make it a life long career. I went to school to become a teacher and received a Bachelors degree in education. I have taught many different grades from pre-k to 6th grade. In my 40's I became certified in CPR for adults and children and received a degree in nursing as well. I have 13 years experience in working with elderly and disabled patients. I've worked with all types of patients including ones with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Autism(children) and Parkinson's.

Leonor was our nanny from September 2018 through August 2021. She was the most wonderful nanny we could ever imagine. We interviewed her when I was pregnant with our first, and I knew she was going to be the right fit for our family when she told me she loved caring for babies because she loved to "fill their brains with knowledge." Over the years, we watched our son's knowledge grow. He was counting to 1000 in both English and Spanish at 2 years old! She stayed with our family through the birth of our second son and was an amazing caregiver for both boys and our whole family. She is incredibly reliable; we could count on her to show up exactly 10 minutes before her shift started every day. She is caring and thoughtful. She is experienced and willing to offer suggestions, but allows parents to make the best decisions for their children. Ultimately our family moved out of state in August 2021, otherwise we would have never let Leonor go. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
