My family met Leonie in the last few weeks of my mother-in-law's life, to support her in-home hospice care. To relieve my father-in-law, Leonie came for shifts of sitting for quiet companionship, administering medication, applying swabs and offering water or food. She is conversational and kind, and was very flexible, understanding our ever-changing needs. I was grateful for the readiness Leonie had in terms of scheduling, available with just a short request in advance. One highlight the family all appreciated was Leonie's insight to using a sheepskin to provide further comfort and padding for my mother-in-law's bedding, helping to prevent sores. I am so thankful, and recommend Leonie's caring presence and practical help to families needing extra support during stressful times of care.
