I am a former Preschool Teacher for Mission Preschool in Chattanooga, TN and current full time student majoring in middle school science education. While working for Mission Preschool I was an assistant teacher in the the baby room and lead teacher in both toddler and pre-k rooms. As a teacher I learned how to connect with parents, construct crafts and curriculum, and cater to each and everyone of my students needs. I have also nannied for 4 families and while caring for the little ones, I learned how to maintain a healthy nanny/parent relationship, how to soothe the most stubborn anxieties, and how to interact with all ages to build emotional, mental, and physical skills. Every morning in our house the constant sound of "nen-en" is coming from our twins mouths as they run around waiting on breakfast. If you didn't get that, they are saying "Lennon". While you would think that mommy and daddy are good enough, apparently they are more excited to see Lennon. I think that can sum up the impact she has made on our twin boys, and how much they have enjoyed her being a part of the family. We had twin boys in December of 2017, and Lennon joined our family sometime around the six month mark (I don't remember exactly). She has been with us two days a week for the entire day while my wife and I work. She not only helps with the kiddos but other home duties as well. They are now almost two, and we (the parents) think socialization is important so have decided to enroll the boys in preschool. We have been so fortunate to have Lennon around, and assure you we will not forget her number in the future.
