About Lenka

I'm a Slovak saxophonist, recorder player, composer, and educator based in NYC with over a decade of teaching experience across Europe and the U. S. I've taught children, teens, and adults at music schools, workshops, and privately, helping students discover creativity, confidence, and joy in music. I hold a Master's in Jazz Performance (New England Conservatory, Boston) and Bachelor's degrees in Early Music (Florence, Leipzig) and Jazz Saxophone (Prague). My lessons are fun, engaging, and adapted to each student's level and interests - from playful exploration for beginners to advanced artistic development. I teach saxophone, recorder, improvisation, theory, composition, and songwriting online or in person in NYC. Fluent in English, Italian, Slovak and Czech. My goal is to make music learning inspiring, personal, and full of discovery.
