We absolutely adore Lenita! She was our full time nanny for 11 months, when our son was between the ages of 7 and 18 months (until we moved out of state!). She was incredibly reliable and never once called out sick or was late, which was such a relief since my husband and I both work full time and have many meetings. Lenita loved our son as if he were her own. She has children of her own and it shows in the way she treated our son. Nothing phased her - whether it was our son going through incredibly fussy periods, or his schedule being completely off due to travel or sleep regressions. It was comforting to know that she would just make it work. If I ever apologized for my son’s fussiness she would often reply “that’s just how babies are.” She is a gem and our son misses her so much! Even though my husband and I worked from home, she sent me photos of our son and what they were doing all day long. Our neighbors loved her, and so many people in the building knew both her and our son because she was so friendly! We miss Lenita so much as she was truly like family to us. Any family would be lucky to have her!
