About Lena

My child care career began at age 11 as a mother's helper for my neighbor and her 2 kids... now, 20 years later I continue to seek out families who need some extra care while parents tend to their own work or social lives. As a caretaker, I love drawing, painting, creative play, outdoor adventures, gardening and baking projects. I know it can be challenging for families to afford childcare, and I am open to doing a share-care with your neighbors/ friends so that parents can share the cost of my hourly rate. I identify as queer and would absolutely love to work with queer parents/ kids, and I do require that any employers be active allies, as I show up as my full self to work.
