About Lena

Hello! My name is Lena, I'm 19 years old, and I'm currently in my 3rd year of college, starting the nursing program this fall. I am drawn to healthcare because of my love for helping those in need. I have worked as a caregiver for the past year now and it has brought me so much joy. My goal is to lose patients, because when they no longer need my assistance it means they now have the strength to live on their own. I'm passionate about giving back to my community, so I always try to find ways to help the people living in my community and neighboring ones. Babysitting, housesitting/keeping, or caring for the elderly has been the best way for me to give back. I also used to babysit my cousins, which is a time I look upon fondly. Working with kids is another one of my passions. I love to teach, play, and inspire, so with my cousins we would play educational games, have dance parties, and create art.
