Hi, I am a dedicated and passionate early childhood development teacher with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development. I strive to create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and inspired to learn. With a strong foundation in child development and instructional strategies, I tailor lessons to meet diverse learning needs and foster both academic and personal growth. Teaching reading is my speciality. Early exposure to reading sets the stage for academic success and a love of learning. A child must learn to read in order to learn. I use the following steps to teach reading; *building Phonemic awareness(rhyming and beginning sounds). *teach phonics (showing how letters and sounds connect). *practice decoding (encouraging sounding out simple words using phonics). * developing vocabularly. * promoting fluency (reading aloud to improve speed, accuracy, and expression). *enhancing comprehension. * encouraging a love for reading.
