Currently, I am in my 10th year teaching 1st grade. For the past 6 summers, I watched my neighbor's 2 children. This summer, I was only needed until last week. I watched a boy and a girl. The girl was going into 7th grade and the boy was going into 3rd grade. Also, in the summers, I worked in our summer basic skills program at the public school I teach at. Due to funding, this program has been cut.
