About Leila

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, kind, patient, positive, and energetic. Working with children brings me joy! Children are lights and should have positive figures who they can trust, have fun with, learn with and from, and look up to. I believe I am someone who can serve these roles for kids. My ideal placement is with a Christian family. I started working with kids when I was 14. I was a swim coach and private swim instructor for kids aged 2-18. Now, I volunteer as an afterschool tutor for elementary students in Roanoke. In my spare time, I like to read, fish, walk, work out, hike, swim, play instruments, and go to Mass and church activities. One thing you should know about me is I was a lifeguard for several years. Also, I hope to teach English in Germany or Austria this year! My skills include resonating and getting along with kids, safety, will play with kids, can cook, clean, will enforce rules.
