Working with children is my passion. It is something that has always come very naturally to me having had two children of my own. I am at present writing a book on rearing children with compassion. I have experience working with children of various ages. I worked for many years with inner city kids and worked in an elementary school teaching 1st graders to read. I really enjoy working with children and keeping them engaged and finding kind, compassionate solutions to challenges that come up. Leila is an exceptional person and nanny. Our family was fortunate to work with her from the time our son was about three months old to 18 months. During their time together, my son and Leila formed a deep bond. We still keep in touch and he remembers/asks about her all the time (he is almost three). Leila’s experience was an asset at each developmental milestone. She imbued her time caring for our son with joyful and meaningful learning.
