About Leigh

I provide responsible, nurturing, warm-hearted care to support children and families in thriving together. I have over 15 years of experience working with children. I've worked as a nanny for infants, toddlers, children and teens. Additionally I've worked as a camp counselor, tutor, after school program leader and science activity teacher. Through working closely with over 7 families and seeing their children grow I've learned to work closely with a diversity of parenting styles. I value nurturing and supporting children so they feel secure, curious and cared for. My calm presence and playful attitude allows me to connect with children's creativity and imagination, and my training in Wilderness First Aid and as a lifeguard helps me to constantly keep an eye on safety. I have experience tutoring and in inquiry-based education and am happy to help with homework.
