About Leigh

I have been with my husband for 34 years and have three grown kids. I left the Marion County school system after 10 years in 2017 to care for my mother-in-law who had Alzheimer's and Dementia. She was the first person that I cared for with a terminal disease. Since caring for her, I have cared for numerous clients with a range of terminal illnesses. I became a CNA as well in 2020. I have experience with clients with Alzheimers, Dementia, TIAs, strokes, muscle disorders, and Parkinsons. I have been a companion to my clients as well as doing light chores around the house. I also transported them to appointments and ordered supplies and groceries. I've done bill paying too. One of my current clients will be returning to her other home in April, and I'll be ready to care for someone else. I'm willing to be flexible with days and hours.

Always attentive, caring, cheerful and has a very positive attitude. Whatever the required task, always performed at the highest standards. She is very intelligent, knowledgeable, talented, well dressed, confident and computer savvy. Always on time and extremely dependable. Performs daily medication service, organization, and reminders. She assists with dressing, grooming, transferring, cooking, laundry, dishes, and online line shopping etc. Such a delight to have in your home, great companion, and conversationalist.
