About Leigha

I started at a retirement center working in the dining room, I loved serving the sweet seniors there. Then I worked as a manager of hotels, for years I enjoyed making my customers more comfortable during their stay. For the past 10 years I was able to be an advocate for my own grandmother during her stay in a skilled nursing center. And as a mom and wife, my happy place is making others comfortable, happy and fed! I like caring for seniors because I can make someone feel good even if just for a bit. If someone is sad or in pain I like being there to cheer and be a distraction. I'm looking for a job that I can be a shining light to someone who needs a little joy. I want to make soup or banana bread. Listen to stories about them. Wash dishes, make beds. I am a energetic multitasker. I get stuff done! I love to have a cup of tea and listen to stories. I'm an advocate for seniors. I pick up on things and work to ensure people are comfortable, safe and healthy.
