About Leida

I think the best words to describe me are: intelligent, kind, and patient I love being a part of a child's first experience with the world around them, because I think their first few years are essential in making sure they grow up well! Admittedly, I am not much of a morning person (unless I've been up all night), but besides that, I am open to any experience I am offered! Though I babysat before, I started working with kids when I was 16, as my first 'on the payroll' job was working at a church nursery! My spare time is almost exclusively spent writing a book I've been attempting to write! Besides that, arts and crafts and scary movies are a favorite of mine. I love answering kids questions! I believe that if a child is old enough to ask about it, they can handle hearing the answer (in an age appropriate way, of course)! I have always been talented at getting kids to sleep, I am very patient during feeding times, and I am always very affectionate with the kids!
