About Leesa

I'd describe my personality as energetic, easy-going, patient, fun and responsible.. I like working with kids because I love their energy, innocence and the way they see the world.. I'm looking for a job that helps families feel their children are in a nurturing environment while earning a little extra money in my free time. I have two adult children of my own and I remember how difficult it was to leave them when they were young, because I didn't have a regular babysitter. I hope I can become a friend to your family and someone you know you can count on when you need (or want) some extra help. In my spare time, I like to read, play pickleball, swim, walk my dog in the park and garden. One thing you should know about me is that I am a full time teacher of an inclusive 4th grade classroom. I have been at the same school for over 20 years and I still love my job! My skills include teaching, problem solving, team work, creativity and communication skills.
