When Atlanta schools transitioned to virtual learning in the spring, Leen took over every aspect of our two elementary age children's school routine and learning. She navigated the many changes and components involved in their "classes" and also supplemented in areas that were lacking, for instance by having them start scheduled video led yoga to help ensure they remained active without all of the recess and after school activities they used to have. Additionally, when in "class", she supervised to make sure they remained attentive (hard at times with my kindergartner) and engaged, while also assisting with their follow-up work and submitting it back to their teachers. Leen took full responsibility of their learning during this period and my husband and I were able to focus on our virtual work in a way that was invaluable.
