About Lee

I am a patient and adaptable tutor dedicated to helping students succeed, at any age and any level of academic ability. My experience as a paraeducator in an academic support classroom as well as my freelance tutoring have given me the skills to support both special education and gen ed students in all core subjects from elementary up to the high school level. My experience includes explaining academic concepts, walking through assignments, designing cirriculum, adapting or accommodating material, and assessment and feedback. I prefer working with students individually and consistently, so I can adapt my approach and see them learn and overcome challenges over time. I provide structure in order to build skills in literacy, math, social studies, and science, alongside study skills, computer proficiency, and testing strategies.
