About LeeAnn

I spent four years as a paraprofessional in a high school special-needs classroom and there I gained a foundation of understanding, not just children, but people in their needs and the different ways they express themselves. I've worked with nonverbal, deaf, autistic, and just non-Neurotypical children in an academic environment, as well as casual and playful environments. I understand that every child is different and has different needs and there is no greater strength than patience. I have a son who will be two in October so I am also very familiar with infant care and the various toddler techniques to get things accomplished. I love to sing, Dance, craft and use fun to teach and demonstrate skills and behaviors Kids can adopt for a lifetime. I personally don't use physical forms of punishment and will respect your rules and household practices for boundaries and discipline. I am very flexible and attentive to detail and instruction to maintain the structure of your household.
