I have worked in a day service with people with developmental disabilities, which involved teaching different life skills and helping people find employment or build social connections. I have worked in a school and residential setting for blind and visually impaired children, helping to create care plans, assessments, reviews, teach independent living skills and some personal care. I have also worked in an independent living organization working with children and adults who have developmental disabilities and mental illnesses. I have done some work also as a nanny since I have been in the USA.
