About Leanne

Hi! My name is Leanne. I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I finished school a year and a half early, and I double majored in Film & Media Studies and Sociology. I am an actress and singer. I offer middle and high school-level Spanish tutoring, elementary and middle school English and reading tutoring, and music and theater prep such as vocal training and practicing lines. I graduated salutatorian from high school with a 4. 1 GPA and a 34 on my ACT. I also received a seal of bi-literacy for my successful completion of Spanish levels 1-5. I've been hearing and speaking Spanish since I was a kid, as my father is from Argentina and my mother is from Cuba. I am a creative thinker, and I love to come up with unique and effective ways to help students understand and familiarize themselves with complex topics. I am incredibly friendly and patient, and I love to make people laugh! My current rates are $45 per hour online and $60 per hour in-person.
