About Leanne

As a current graduate student and life long learner I am available to tutor in natural sciences and biology. I'm passionate about helping middle school students unlock their potential! With a college degree and three years of experience, I create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I believe every student can succeed with personalized support, so I actively listen and observe to adapt my teaching methods. I vary my strategies, using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and break down complex problems to build momentum. Open communication is essential for understanding student needs and building trust. The most rewarding part of tutoring is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am available to tutor at a student's home, or my home, online, library, or school. I would love to help your student succeed!
