About Leanne

I've been involved in childcare from a very young age. I began babysitting when I was 12 years old. As a teenager I worked at a YMCA as a lifeguard and swim instructor of all ages. I love to teach water safety and swimming skills to kids so they can be comfortable and confident in water. I completed my undergraduate degree at UNCG and my graduate degree at Tufts University in Boston, MA. I am a full time Registered Dietitian but I am looking for childcare jobs in my free time. My favorite activities when babysitting are playing outside or creative play inside that builds important skills such as coordination and memory. I have babysat for a variety of ages 9 weeks to 12 years old and have babysat for families that had pets. I am comfortable watching four children at a time and still finding fun activities for the different ages and interests.
