About Leanna

With over 15 years of experience and a graduate degree, I bring a wealth of knowledge and deep-rooted passion to help students unlock their full potential based on who they are and how their brains work. In addition to holding a degree in Spanish (and being fluent), I am positively nerdy about writing and grammar, teaching executive functioning and study skills, and adapting to students' unique needs to help them develop intrinsic motivation and self-confidence. My style is energetic, developmentally focused, engaging, and data-driven. It is built on a foundation of teaching practical, life-applicable strategies to cultivate independence. I have extensive experience supporting students with IEPs/504s/support plans, and corresponding accommodations. I am available to tutor online for middle and high schoolers, college students, and adults.
