About Leanna

Hi! My name is Leanna, living in Hamden, CT, and pursuing my degree in nursing and psychology. I have always loved kids! I have been working with little people in various capacities much of my life. I started out as a kindergarten class aid and a counselor at a camp for special needs children. I began babysitting during high school and then after graduation I became a kid professional; parents' helper, nanny, and childcare center assistant teacher. Every family is unique (nuclear, extended, blended) I have cared for all ages (infants to teenagers) I have worked with families with a single child, large family, twins, and special needs. I am available for 'sick day' care, school holidays, and night nurse for newborns and international travel. I brag to MY family all the time about the kids I take care of, their funny stories, milestones, and growth. I look forward to hearing from you! -Leanna
