I am a 45-year-old mother of two- a daughter & son. My daughter is on the Autism spectrum, so I have extensive experience with special needs children. I worked as an Ophthalmic surgical technician for 17 years. My main duties included performing eye exams, surgical coordination, special testing & assisting the surgeon in cataract & LASIK surgeries. In the days I was not working in surgery, I worked as a substitute teacher at my kids' elementary school for two years. This averaged out to be about 3 days a week. I love children.
