About Leah

Experience: Babysitting: Babysat for various families over the past 6-7 years. Ages ranged from older infants through middle school. Depending on the children I would do developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, snuggles, meals, and bed time routines. Nannying: Nannied for one summer for a 9 and 11-year-old. Primarily providing transportation, coordinating play dates, field trip activities (parks, amusement parks, zoo), meals and other various activities together. Daycare (3 years): First 9 months at this location I was with toddlers. Later I floated between all ages ranging from toddler to elementary, occasionally infants. I would do group time, structured play, outside activities, nap time, reading, meals and bathroom needs. My last summer I was a co-teacher in the 1st-2nd room. Boys and Girls Club: I've been here for the past year. I started out here as a tutor for K-2nd grade students, and have now moved to the position of behavior and mental health support.
