About Leah

As a caregiver, my passion lies in nurturing children's growth and development, shaping their lives positively. With two years of experience, I am comfortable caring for up to three children, ranging from one to 11 years old. Along with my previous experience I have an extensive background with special needs children. My patient and friendly nature allows me to connect with children. I have completed coursework in early child development and hold a CPR certification. I believe in clear and open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's day and addressing any concerns. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including educational games and outdoor activities that encourage physical play and learning. I am fluent in English, Spanish, as well as a basic understanding in ASL. In addition to childcare, I am happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision.
