About Leah

I am capable working with children of all ages. I have 30 credit hours for early childhood education where I have volunteered in a classroom. I have a degree in General Studies centered around cultural background. I have worked with all ages through the Boys and Girls Club designing programs in art, science, healthy, habits, physical activities, and community. During Covid shut down I taught four kids ages 4, 5, 8, and 11 a Montessori teaching style. As a teenager and young adult, I have volunteered with other organizations such as the American Red Cross and through my youth group. I am capable of handling any household responsibilities including pets. I am capable of working with both animals and children. My passion is to teach them about music, art, reading, nature and nutrition. I love listening to kids and doing activities they would prefer to do. Playing games inside and outside, reading with them, and crafting are my favorite activities.
