About Leah

Fostering children's curiosity and growth has been my focus for over 17 years. I hold a Master's in Education and a Vermont teaching license in Birth through Age 5, with experience as a childcare director, Montessori educator, and in-home provider. I am comfortable caring for up to three children from infancy through school age, including feeding, sleep routines, and early developmental support. I also assist families with daily routines, meal preparation, and light household tasks. I create hands-on, open-ended play experiences that encourage curiosity, independence, and meaningful learning while honoring each child's interests and developmental stage. I value respectful communication, consistency, clear expectations, and supportive routines. I provide calm, warm guidance while reinforcing household boundaries. I am drawn to both adventure and simplicity, with a love of travel and new experiences balanced by intentional living, nature, and everyday moments.
