About Leah

I'm a responsible and caring college student with hands-on childcare experience from growing up with a younger sister. During middle and high school, I babysat her and her friends when they were around 6-11 years old. I'm most comfortable working with toddlers and older children, as I don't have experience caring for newborns. I'm currently working toward my Business Management degree at the UNG and have completed 54 credit hours. I'm patient, calm, attentive, reliable, organized, and have flexible availability. I enjoy engaging kids in fun, age-appropriate activities such as board games, puzzles, baking, and arts and crafts. When it comes to discipline, I strive to create a safe, supportive environment by following the parents' lead and using a gentle approach. I love pets (especially cats!) and am happy to help care for animals, as well as assist with light household tasks. While I'm not currently CPR certified, I'm happy to complete a class if required.
