About Leah
I'm a responsible and caring college student with hands-on childcare experience from growing up with a younger sister. I'm most comfortable working with toddlers and older children, as I don't have experience caring for newborns. I'm currently working toward my Early Childhood and Special Education degree at UNG and have completed 60 credit hours. I'm patient, calm, attentive, reliable, organized, and have flexible availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I enjoy engaging kids in fun, age-appropriate activities such as board games, puzzles, baking, and arts and crafts. When it comes to discipline, I strive to create a safe, supportive environment by following the parents' lead and using a gentle approach. I love pets (especially cats!) and am happy to help care for animals, as well as assist with light household tasks. While I'm not currently CPR certified, I'm happy to complete a class if required by the family.
