My experience as a caregiver started at home. I spent years helping take care of my grandma and my stepdad, and that time really shaped who I am today. It wasn't just about helping with daily tasks, it was about being there for them, keeping them company, listening, and making sure they felt safe, comfortable, and loved. Those moments taught me how important it is to treat people with dignity and compassion, especially during times when they need it most. I don't just see the people I care for as clients. I see them as someone's mom or dad, someone's sister or brother, someone who is deeply loved. And they deserve to be treated that way. I'm devoted to giving the best care I can, every single day. I want the people I care for to feel respected, supported, and truly cared about, not just looked after. For me, caregiving isn't just a job, it's something I genuinely care about and take pride in.
