We are so glad we hired Leah to care for my husband, who has Parkinson's and dementia. Leah is a standout compared to other caregivers we have had for many reasons. First, she is very experienced in all things caregiving, helping us with how to manage all the various challenges that come with day to day living with this disease: what's best for incontinence, staying hydrated, staying safe, how various drugs can impact, etc., etc. She also helps him with exercises, rides to gym, preps his meals, gets to know him by spending time sharing memories, taking short walks and so forth. The best part is that we are so comfortable having Leah at our home, she is warm and caring and easy to be with, such a blessing when it's necessary to have significant help, not just an occasional helper.
