About Leah

Hello! My name is Leah and I bring over 17 years experience working with children in both educational and home settings. My passion for nurturing young minds has guided me through a long and fulfilling career with the Hampton Bays School District, where I supported students, as well as my own child, across a wide range of developmental stages. Recently, I've transitioned into professional nannying. In my most recent role, I gained 3. 5 months of in-home nanny experience, which built upon my prior 2 years as a teacher's assistant and my deep rooted experience in child development. I've worked with children from infancy through adolescence. As the proud mother of a 26-year-old son on the autism spectrum, I bring first hand experience supporting children with special needs. I know how to approach every child with empathy, patience, structure, and encouragement - meeting them where they are and helping them thrive at their own pace.
