About Leah

My name is Leah! I've babysat for about 8 years and have been teaching as a preschool teacher for a year and a half. I have always had a passion for children and am soon going back to school online to become a teacher for elementary! I love my time with the kids and the joy they bring everyday! I have my cosmetology license which I received after high school and enjoy photography, crafts, and the outdoors! I love animals, I have many of my own, so have no problem with pets and housekeeping! I have taken sitter safety courses, infant and adult CPR/AED training, first aid training, and early childhood development training! I grew up in a family of nurses and teachers so have always prepared myself for life saving actions I can make in case of emergency. Being able to be a safe space for kids is most important to me and showing a kind heart to those in need. Learning and growing with my students has been such a blessing in my life and has taught me so much!
